G. Torrey Rossetter

Torrey has focused on the food industry for more than 25 years at major financial institutions including Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, Rabobank and RBC Capital Markets. He has led hundreds of transactions and investments encompassing each major sector of the food industry - from food input companies to food manufacturers, distributors, retailers and foodservice companies.

Torrey has executed a broad array of transactions for food companies including mergers, acquisitions, corporate sales, private equity buyouts, divestitures, debt and equity financings, restructurings, recapitalizations and strategic alliances. He has spent much of his career valuing food companies and analyzing strategic alternatives for food businesses. He has worked closely with management teams of both family owned and public food companies in formulating and implementing creative strategic and corporate finance solutions to enhance value. Torrey has in-depth industry knowledge having worked in more than 65 different segments of the food industry. He is a graduate from Williams College and Harvard Business School.

Rajiv Singh

Rajiv brings deep industry experience including leading the world's largest food and agribusiness focused bank in North America. Rajiv is a strategic investor and partner, having served corporations, funds, entrepreneurs and professionals with a focus on value creation, innovation and corporate finance. Rajiv has served in several leadership roles, including as Chief Executive Officer for Rabobank North America Wholesale Banking where he directed the bank’s corporate and institutional client activities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, being responsible for corporate banking, private equity and venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, specialized products, food and agribusiness research, and capital markets activities, as well as all operational and support functions. As a special focus on innovation, he led the launch of platforms like Foodbytes and MIT Food Prize (pitch competitions in the food and agribusiness sectors), and Terra (a science and technology focused accelerator program for Food/Ag entrepreneurs, in collaboration with Rocketspace). Rajiv has broad principal investment, finance, corporate strategy and execution experience gained during his career at Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse, as well as at United Technologies and Nestle. Rajiv has been a member of Investment Committee at Arlon Food and Agriculture Partners LLC and the Board of Directors of Rabo Securities Canada, Inc., and chaired the board of Rabo Securities USA, Inc., as well as principal risk and investment committees at Rabobank North America. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School and the Indian Institute of Technology.

Rajiv is passionate about creating a fair and responsive food system. One of his current non-profit initiatives is helping set-up a moonshot program for food and agribusiness – “FoodShot Global”, where he is the Co-Chair of the board. FoodShot is a collaborative platform of innovators, investors, industry leaders, and advocates who are working together to solve our biggest food system challenges. By connecting knowledge, networks, and funding across the private and public sectors, FoodShot hopes to create scalable, impactful, and inspired solutions – MoonShots For Better Food.
